Operation of Superburro™
- We recommend that you drive the forklift truck
carefully and with great care and attention when you are moving
Superburro. Remember that you will have restricted vision
especially if the unit is large, wide or tall. If there
are pedestrians in the area, be extra vigilant and slow down.
- Superburro should not to be used on
inclines or ramps greater than 10 degrees and only used on ramps or
inclines if the optional chains or clamps are used. It
is not necessary to use these devices under normal operating
conditions but they are necessary in this case to prevent the unit
sliding off should you be going downhill and have to brake sharply
in an emergency.
- Before moving off, check that the unit is clear
of the ground and that it is sufficiently high enough off the ground
to clear any bumps or dips in the ground which you intend driving
over. Do not drive the forklift truck with the Superburro
raised up high in the air. Always travel with Superburro
raised a few inches off the ground. But remember those bumps
- After discharge, check that the base is locked
before moving off. Drop the unit down on the ground to make
sure that the chute-bolt deadlock is fully home. A check is
also sensible when picking up a container which is full and ready to
- Never drive the Superburro hard into the skip
when discharging waste. Never drop the unit down hard on the
edge of the skip. Follow the correct operation procedure at
all times. The Superburro is robust enough to take many hard knocks
but damage can result from willful or negligent action.
- Always make sure that the latch mechanism is
working correctly. Make sure that any rubbish or other
material is not trapped in the mechanism or close to the mechanism
so as to cause interference with correct operation of the locking
mechanism. The unit should be checked periodically to make
sure that all welds are intact, the lock and hinges are working
correctly and that the general condition is sound. if the unit
is fitted with a sump or with castors, these too should be checked
and confirmed as fit for use or repaired or replaced.
- Persons must not be allowed to ride in the
Superburro while it is being used nor get inside the unit when it is
parked. No, not even for a laugh.
- The Superburro will have a maximum capacity
depending on which model you have purchased. Do not exceed the
safe working load.
